I’d like to invite you to a celebration of God’s saving grace! We will have this celebration at the upcoming Believers Baptism and Cook-Out at Gilberts Farm on Saturday, August 15. We had a great time last year and look forward to another good time.
Mackenzie Todd was one of seven who shared their testimonies
and followed the Lord in baptism last year.
For those attending, hot dogs and hamburgers, drinks, etc. are being provided. We ask everyone to remember LAWN CHAIRS, and A DISH TO PASS (either salad or dessert). We also need a head count. There will be a sign up sheet at church on Sunday, or respond directly to the church office at lookstluke@cebridge.net.
If you have not been baptized as an adult believer, we encourage you to do so. One’s infant baptism or baby dedication is a celebration of God’s gift to a family, the parents’ desire to raise their child in our most precious faith, and their trust in God’s faithfulness to bring that little one to saving faith.
When we get baptized as an adult, we celebrate that trust and declare that we have put our trust in the saving grace of God. We also demonstrate obedience in following Christ’s example and His command.
Those interested in taking this step should contact me. I have important information for those being baptized.
Looking forward to a great celebration of our faith as a church family, Pastor Christopher
Ben and Jim led singing for us on a beautiful summer evening!
