We will have a special time of fellowship and worship together as a church family out at Leroy and Colgene Gilbert’s place at 5:30 PM on Saturday, August 15. Hamburgers, hot dogs and drinks are provided. Please bring a side dish and dessert to share.
This evening will give an opportunity for a number of people who desire to follow the Lord in believers baptism by immersion. One of the most exciting parts of the evening is to hear how God has worked in peoples’ lives.
Pastor Christopher answered questions regarding the difference between infant baptism and believers baptism in last summer’s “You Asked For It” series (July 24, 2008). Study in the Book of Daniel: On break until August 2
Man of Courage, Book of Mystery
The study of this fascinating book takes place during the Sunday school hour, resuming on August 2. Pastor Christopher has explored Daniel’s incredible examples of courage in a hostile society and the mysteries of the books many dreams and visions of the future. We are now about to examine the prophecies of the Anti-Christ, both in Daniel and in Revelation.
